Noncommittal
So, I’ve pondered the notion of setting up a blog for years now. Over that time, the blueprint has changed from being:
* a battleground for slaying the demons of my past…
* to a soapbox for my pseudo-academic retailanthropologic musings…
* to a fan letter to all things psychotherapeutic and SSRI-related…
* to a canvas for my artistic inclinations…
* to an advert flyer for my shopping inclinations…
* to an innately pretentious window into my snarky, pop-culture-fed soul…
* to a lifeline to the outside world when faced with a 7-week hospital stay due to my unborn daughter trying to make an early escape…
* to a newsletter heralding the latest developments about my premature daughter, Sofia. (A 27-weeker, she did, indeed, escape early.)
So, here I am. I *finally* created an account. Final reason: I just wanted to respond to my friend K’s blog.
What will I blog about? I dunno. Years of thought went into this… figuring out exactly what p.o.v. I wanted to exploit explore.
I’m prone to thinking things out too much, to the point of inaction. OCD’ll do that to a gal.
I’m learning from Sofie that, while one can create a meticulously thought-out plan, one cannot depend on having the opportunity to execute it. Sofie is teaching me the ultimate lesson in rolling with the punches… the ultimate lesson in one-day-at-a-timedom…
Anyway, now that I’m here?
Well, now that I’m here, I think I’ll go to bed.
Sweet dreams.
