Bacon is the new black.

Still catching up on my news reading for today. If you just read my last blog post, then before you begin to think all I read is crap, I want to point out that I read many news sources, including CNN, Fox, Reuters, Boing Boing, etc. etc.

So, I’m sitting here, glad to have posted my NaBloPoMo post for today, and resume catching up on the news online. CNBC is playing on the tv… Fast Money, to be exact. They just had a little blurb of a news item discussing…

CHICKEN FRIED BACON.

CHICKEN. FRIED. BACON.

Can you frickin’ chickin’ imagine?!?! Bacon that is breaded and deep fried, then served with a side of country gravy. I think the blood stopped coursing through my veins just at the very thought of it.

Just read this article about Fisher-Price’s Little Mommy Real Loving Baby Cuddle and Coo doll.

People insist they can hear Fisher-Price’s “Little Mommy Real Loving Baby Cuddle and Coo” mumbling “Islam is the light” and “Satan is king,…”

Naturally, stores are pulling them from shelves.

I immediately wondered if any were to be found on eBay. Not that I wanted one. Just curious to see if/how people were going to try to capitalize on the situation.

I shouldn’t have wondered if; I should have wondered how many.

As of this moment, 11 listings come up using the search terms “little mommy cuddle doll.”
