About
I have been creating and designing all of my life, however, it was not until this century that I finally invited my creative muse to join me along my professional journey.
Using my information-junkie powers for good (and, dare I say, innate artistic and geeky inclinations), I taught myself HTML, PHP, CSS, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Encouraged by enough of my friends who admired my potential to be a tabloid photo compositor, I surrounded myself with talented professionals, finessing my abilities into something respectable with coursework through the University of California, Santa Barbara’s Graphic Design & Visual Communication Professional Certificate Program.
I have since developed, designed and maintained web sites at UCSB; am a member of UCSB’s Web Standards Group; have been invited to consult on projects for logo and web design; and have been solicited to create original graphic designs and publication layouts. I have also led training seminars in web content and database management. Additionally, I am a current member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP), the International Webmasters Association and The HTML Writers Guild.
I am also mom 2 year old, Sofia, and am married to her geek astrophysicist dad, Tim.
Some day, I hope to get a kitten and to go to Legoland Billund. (Not to be interpreted as me taking a kitten to Billund, silly.)

I just wanted to say hello to another Regina Rivera…somewhat strange that there is someone out there with the same original name like mine (oxymoron, I know!) Keep on truckin’ for Regina’s everywhere!
Hello to another Rivera from Luz Rivera, here in Houston.
